Belt Buckle Ring

The giving of a ring in the shape of a belt buckle began in Victorian times and was symbolic token of the close relationship between the giver and the wearer. It was given to show the strength, loyalty and protection of that special someone. When I stumbled upon this beauty at an estate sale, I was amazed - it is from the 1800's and had beautiful flowers that adorn the top. I have replicated it in bronze and have hand burnished it to bring out the fine details of the piece. It is a stunning piece and a unique one to add to your collection and make a fabulous thumb ring.
